Education Residential Program – Educational Services
Casa Pacifica’s Camino a Casa Education Residential Program is designed to treat youth ages 12 to 17 who are challenged with emotional dysregulation and high-risk behaviors that jeopardize their safety at home, school and/or the community, or interfere with their ability to access their education. The goal of the Camino a Casa Education Program is to help youth stabilize and improve emotional regulation. Stabilization is accomplished when our youth acquire skills and insight that lead to more adaptable levels of functioning and reduce acuity to the point that the youth can be safely and effectively treated in a less intense level of care.
The program includes daily attendance and educational support at our Non-Public School, group treatment, recreation and expressive arts therapies. Family and individual therapy, medication evaluation, and intensive case management are provided on an individualized basis throughout the week. The length of stay can range depending on each individual youth’s needs and approval from the youth’s IEP team.
