Dr. Kimberly Bennett joined Casa Pacifica in May of 2011 and oversees community programs in Ventura County including Wraparound, Therapeutic Behavioral Services, Intensive In-Home Behavioral Health Services, Intensive Services Foster Care and Foster Family Agency. Dr. Bennett has worked with youth in a variety of community-based, in-home settings in Los Angeles and Ventura County for over 20 years. She completed her undergraduate and graduate work at the State University of New York at Stony Brook prior to receiving an additional masters and doctorate at the California School of Professional Psychology in Los Angeles.
Among her other duties, Dr. Bennett handles the recruitment, supervision and practicum training of doctoral and social work students from graduate schools throughout Southern California. In addition, she has expertise and speaks internationally on the topic of coping with rare disease in children and sibling relationships in families dealing with rare disease.
