Dr. Anna K. Guerin received her Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology at the University of California, Los Angeles. She went on to receive her Master’s in Educational Psychology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Before entering a doctoral program, Anna worked at a non-profit where she worked with elementary, middle and high schools to reduce bullying and cyber-bullying; as well as promote cultural awareness. Anna received her doctorate from the California School of Professional Psychology in 2012 with experience working with severely mentally ill adults in community mental health, adolescents in school based counseling, and adults/adolescents in a psychiatric hospital in Los Angeles. Dr. Guerin started working with Casa Pacifica in 2012 as a post-doctoral fellow in Transitional Youth Services and the Emergency Shelter. She continued her career at Casa Pacifica and became a full-time Clinician in TYS, advanced to a Clinical Supervisor, and eventually moved to become a Clinical Program Manager. After three years in that role Dr. Guerin promoted to position of Director of Clinical Services, Head of Service.
